Garden 2015- Still Growing
Just wanted to share some pictures of the 2015 Food It Yourself garden from this week so you could see how things have expanded since The Planting. Everything is growing, except the cucumbers and cantaloupe for some reason.
That is a pumpkin vine in the lower right corner. Behind it is a world of tomatoes.
These are tiny green tomatoes on one of my “volunteer’ plants. The plant has not been fertilized, weeded, irrigated, staked, or trimmed all season. If the fruit tastes good I’m going to breed it.
Bean and Pumpkin are friends. See? They are hugging!
My herbs are all so happy! Mint, dill, lavender, and sage all doing very well.
My rhubarb has definitely taken root. Can I harvest some the first year? Anyone know?
I usually like my snap beans a little bigger, but I wanted to get some before the resident bunny ate them all.
